PhD Prex 2025: Candidaturas seleccionadas

The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM) announces the three selected candidates of the first call of the Prex Predoctoral Fellowships, grants linked to the “Severo Ochoa” and “María de Maeztu” excellence distinctions and funded by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI), within the framework of the María de Maeztu Excellence Programme. These fellowships aim to promote the research training of young talents through their incorporation into high-impact strategic projects. The contracts will primarily focus on research activities aligned with priority research lines developed within the strategic plans and programmes funded under the CEX2023 calls, further strengthening the Institute’s commitment to scientific excellence and cutting-edge knowledge generation.

The first beneficiaries of this edition are:

• Andrea Sanchis Moltó will develop the thesis Dosimeters for Advanced Radiotherapy Modalities, under the supervision of Consuelo Guardiola Salmerón and co-supervision of Ivan López Paz, within the Radiation Detectors Group (RDG).
• Sandra Pérez Jiménez will carry out the thesis Development of Graphene Microtransistor Arrays for High-Throughput Multibiosensing, supervised by Elisabet Prats Alfonso and co-supervised by Xavier Illa Vila and Sergi Brosel Oliu, within the Biomedical Applications Group (GAB).
