Trainers
Lisa Saemisch is a physicist by training, with a PhD in nanophotonics, and over 7 years of experience as a researcher. Her work has been published in several high-impact journals and she has presented at more than 10 international conferences, always eager to explain sophisticated scientific concepts in a very simple way.
She has extensive experience in teaching students and has developed a passion for helping her fellow scientists improve the content and delivery of their presentations, their paper-reading skills and consulting them about what the future holds for a scientist.
Anna Erb is a Biochemist with a PhD from TU Munich, Germany, and over 8 years of experience as a translational researcher in academia. She has worked at leading institutions worldwide, including Tokyo University of Science, KAUST (Saudi Arabia), CRUK (UK), and IMIM in Barcelona, where she completed her Postdoc in Cancer Immunology. Inspired by her various working environments, Anna is passionate about equipping academic teams with the tools to improve their workflows and advance their careers. In 2026, she joined TPM as Trainer and Training Manager.
