IMB-CNM awards Eva Deltor the first prize of its inaugural contest on science career development for women 

The JPhD 2025 congress proved to be a key meeting point for young researchers in materials science and nanotechnology at the UAB Campus. IMB-CNM PhD researcher Haowen Hu won the Best Oral Contribution award

The technology-based company, from IMB-CNM and ICN2, develops new climate products such as CO2atings® and CO2rallites® from industrial and urban waste. These products can, in turn, be used in the construction sector as materials with a reduced carbon footprint, to make a passive capture of CO₂ and contribute to reducing emissions in cities.

The JPhD2024, an event entirely organized by PhD fellows in the UAB Campus, was a great success of participation and scientific networking. Predoctoral researchers of IMB-CNM gave oral presentations and attended the posters showcase, with Carla Riera Llobet and Joel Pérez winning two of the prizes

Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech is a technology-based company focused on quantum computing with an agreement to develop technologies inside the Micro and Nanofabrication Clean Room of the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona - National Microelectronics Center of the Spanish National Research Council.

Presided over by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain and with the Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant, the IMB-CNM researcher received his award in the area of Technology Transfer together with the other 19 people awarded in other disciplines.

The Ministry of Science and Innovation grants the National Research Awards 2023 and awards the 'Ángela Ruiz Robles' National Research Award for Young People to Gonzalo Murillo Rodríguez, researcher at IMB-CNM.

The awards ceremony of the “Un microchip muy grande” contest, held today at the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona, rewards the winning teams and the work done around microelectronics.
