PAPI Off-Campus Access Service
PAPI Off-Campus Access Service is service that allows access from anywhere with Internet connectivity to collections of electronic journals and databases licensed to CSIC and to the Intranet of the Libraries Network.
PAPI is a system that provides access to any type of electronic information through mechanisms of local identification (username and password validated against a mail server or a directory server, electronic systems, certificates, etc.) so access is independent of the IP address of the computer from which it is made.
Any CSIC researcher or worker at CSIC has access to these resources.

Digital.CSIC is an open file that gives access to the scientific production of the centres and institutes of CSIC which is not subject to copyright restrictions.
CSIC Institutional Open Access Mandate
The open access mandate is the natural evolution of an institutional policy committed to opening access to CSIC research results since 2006. The open access mandate provides that various types of CSIC research results are deposited and accessible through the Digital.CSIC repository.
OA Publication Support Program
CSIC, through its Unit of Scientific Information Resources for Research (URICI), has signed agreements with some publishers to support open access publishing (OA). Thanks to these agreements, CSIC authors can benefit from discounts in the Article Processing Charges of their OA publications. The amount of the discount varies depending on the publisher.
