MdM INTEGRA Projects

The IMB-CNM, though the María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence program, is launching the Integra Call, which seeks to fund up to four research projects from institute scientists that foster scientific excellence through impact in one of its dimensions: scientific, social, and economic impact.

The INTEGRA Call, part of the María de Maeztu Strategic Plan at IMB‑CNM‑CSIC, supports high‑impact research projects that strengthen the institute’s scientific excellence. The program promotes transformative initiatives that bring research groups together, encouraging collaboration across disciplines, shared expertise, and the creation of stronger, more cohesive scientific teams.

Projects must demonstrate clear impact in at least one dimension:

  • Scientific impact: disruptive ideas that generate internationally visible science and advance excellence.
  • Economic impact: pathways to transfer mature research lines, increase TRLs, and unlock technological or commercial potential.
  • Social impact: dissemination, public‑sector collaboration, and contributions to societal understanding of semiconductors, energy, and emerging technologies.

The call funds up to four ambitious projects that foster collaboration, innovation, and measurable impact.
