The IMB-CNM, though the María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence program, launches the Integra Call, which seeks to fund up to four research projects from institute scientists that foster scientific excellence through impact in one of its dimensions: scientific, social, and economic impact.
Impact
- Disruptive ideas in the fields of micro and nanoelectronics or micro and nanosystems
- The ultimate goal is to deliver high-quality, internationally visible science that could positively impact the excellence KPI of the Institute
- Proposals that explore pathways to transfer mature research lines where novelty and scientific impact has plateaued into the market
- Collaborations that advance the research line’s technology readiness level (TRL) and unlock its economic potential
- Encourage dissemination through reports on semiconductors, energy, and emerging technologies
- Proposals to collaborate with public institutions either technically or as advisory are welcomed
Beneficiaries
- Beneficiaries of the call are Doctors at all career stages
- The duration of the current contract of the beneficiary should cover the duration of the project (2 years)
- The INTEGRA call will be structured in two stages, of which the current call is the first phase
