From May 5 to 7, 2025, the UAB Science Faculty will host the Quantum Days at UAB Campus (Q-UAB Days), a three-day event organized to mark the United Nations International Year of Quantum Science and Technologies. Co-organized by the IMB-CNM, the ICMAB, and the UAB, the event will bring together leading researchers and students to explore the latest advances and real-world applications in quantum science.
The researcher specialized in memristive devices emerging for neuromorphic computing applications, has participated in the thematic conception of the new book “Chips, semiconductors and sandwiches” promoted by the Departament de Recerca i Universitats from the Generalitat de Catalunya
The CHIPS project already has three infographics adapted to different audiences and has carried out its first workshops aimed at primary and secondary school students.
One more year, the IMB-CNM participates with talks in schools, a video campaign for the promotion of new scientific references and the collaboration in a Viquimarató organized by the PRBB.
Once again, Science Week has been the largest event for science, open to all audiences and ages, in Catalonia and Spain. The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona organized and collaborated on three activities that were attended by more than sixty people in Cerdanyola, Terrassa, and Barcelona.
