Predoctoral Committee

The Predoctoral Committee represents and supports the predoctoral community, fostering an inclusive research environment and contributing to the continuous enhancement of professional development at IMB-CNM.

The IMB-CNM Predoctoral Committee represents the predoctoral community in front of the IMB-CNM's governing bodies. It identifies and addresses the collective's needs, and promotes a strong academic and social environment. The committee organizes activities, supports the integration of new members, acts as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, and contributes to the continuous improvement of the IMB-CNM training program to ensure it responds to the needs and aspirations of the predoctoral community.

The current member are: Carla Blanes Gallego, Eva Maria Deltor Cortés, Florent Dougados, Sandra Pérez Jiménez, Gabriele Petitto, Carla Riera Llobet, Iker Uranga Granados, and Flaminia Vinci.

IMB-CNM Young Reseachers Day

One of the main activities by the committee is the organization of the annual Young Researchers Day, a gathering of predoc- and postdoctoral researchers at IMB-CNM. It includes oral presentations and posters. It promotes networking opportunities among peers and awards for the best speakers and materials.
