The 1st Innovation Day: 0KM Chips aims to promote technology transfer with companies in which the developments of the institute and the cases of micro and nanoelectronic technologies that have reached society through collaborations with industry will be shown and valued.

The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC) celebrates the first Innovation Day: 0KM Chips to promote the transfer with the industry. An exclusively face-to-face conference to value the technologies developed by the institute and highlight the transfer of knowledge carried out by the largest research center dedicated to research and development in Micro and Nano Technologies and Microsystems and with unique capabilities in technology of silicon. It is unique in the design and manufacture of integrated circuits, chips, in its Clean Room for Micro and Nanofabrication, a Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructure (ICTS) recognized by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The IMB-CNM invites companies, business groups and industry agents to share needs and establish possible ways of collaboration between the research center and industry.
The Innovation Day aims to increase knowledge about microelectronics and chips, the disruptive technology called to change the economy, and foster collaboration around the deployment of technologies based mainly on silicon.
- Date: Wednesday, November 23, 2022, from 09:30 to 17:00.
- Format: face-to-face (limited capacity).
