We are pleased to announce the launch of the IMB-CNM María de Maeztu Visiting Senior Research Program, an internal call aimed at attracting outstanding international senior researchers to strengthen IMB-CNM’s internationalization strategy and foster high-impact scientific collaborations.
As part of the María de Maeztu Strategic Plan, this program seeks to promote incoming scientific mobility, reinforce IMB-CNM's international research network, and create new opportunities for knowledge exchange and long-term collaboration with leading international institutions.
The programme will support short- and long-term senior research stays at IMB-CNM, providing financial support for travel, accommodation, subsistence, and activities related to scientific collaboration, internationalisation, and institutional visibility.
We strongly encourage broad participation and look forward to receiving proposals that will contribute to reinforcing IMB-CNM’s scientific excellence, international visibility, and collaborative capacity.
Key information
- Maximum program budget: €138,000. The maximum amount allocated for accommodation and subsistence is €3,300 per month or €110 per day.
- Stay duration: Stays may range from short stays (1–89 days) to long stays (90–180 days, up to 6 months), with a minimum duration of 1 month.
- Application format: Continuous submission, with monthly evaluation of proposals.
