Members of the CSIC's VATC visit the institute's installations
Representatives from the Deputy Vice-presidence of Knowledge Tranfer visit the IMB-CNM installations for an overview of the centre's research and activity in technology transfer to the industry.
The Deputy Vice-presidence of Knowledge Tranfer of the CSIC (VATC) visited the installations of the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona on 22nd June to get to know the activity of the centre and all of its efforts in technology transfer to the society.
The representatives of the VATC got to visit the Micro and Nanofabrication Clean Room, a Singular Scientific and Technical Infrastructure (ICTS) recognized by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, and saw first-hand the type of work and instruments technicians make use of to work with silicon technologies.
They later discussed with the new Direction of the IMB-CNM about the centre's potential in tech transference and its activity in research.
