IMB-CNM participates for the first time in the Ciència en Equip fair in Girona
Laura Lefaix, Marc Navarro and Mercedes Saludes took the workshop "Recarrega't!" to the Ciència en Equip fair on April 13th, which filled the streets of the city with science.
On April 13, predoctoral researchers Laura Lefaix and Marc Navarro took the workshop "Recarrega't!" to the Ciència en Equip fair held in Girona, in an activity coordinated by the other predoctoral researcher Mercedes Saludes. The fair is an initiative of the Servei Educatiu del Gironès and is held every year in the streets of Girona. In this edition, the stands filled the squares of the Hospital and Pompeu Fabra and also the Pati de les Magnòlies (Headquarters of the Generalitat) and the Plaça dels Manaies.
The workshop is a wide sample of the activity and research of the IMB-CNM for the younger public, with the idea of encouraging their participation and knowledge about microelectronics. It has electronic circuits with the operation of a transistor, silicon wafers and chips to teach the manufacturing processes, a microscope to observe the devices, a game to connect the symbols of the transistor or a switch, for example, with its meaning and many more things!
The fair took place on Saturday 13th and the IMB-CNM workshop hosted children for a total of four hours in a row. From the IMB-CNM we would like to thank all the people involved for their work.
