Abstract
With the growing adoption of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques, some researchers have warned about the possible biases introduced by these methods. In this talk we will explain the way these techniques operate, the risks, and guidelines to follow to prevent possible non desired outcomes.
About the speaker
Josep Lluís Arcos is Research Scientist in Machine Learning Department of Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA-CSIC) and former head of department. His research is focused on machine learning, time series analysis, interpretability, and on their applications to healthcare and music processing.
