The TRIGGER projects (now on its 3rd call) are internal initiatives to fund new research by postdoctoral staff with the aim of giving coordination experience. They address crucial challenges in society in the areas of health, environment, energy and mobility.

Short presentations highlighting the results of the TRIGGER projects (1st and 2nd call) by its coordinators:

  • Iñigo Martín (TRIGGER #2): Laser-induced grahene for thermoelectric generators (LIG4TEG)
  • Ferran Pujol and Sergi Brosel (TRIGGER #1): PLAsmo-MEChanical platform for high-precision monitoring of bacterial growth before the cell division (PLAMEC)
  • Sandra Pérez (TRIGGER #2): Wearable textile-based strain sensor for motion monitoring
