The International Day of Light (16th May) celebrates the anniversary of the first successful operation of the laser in 1960 by physicist and engineer Theodore Maiman. This year, at IMB-CNM, we will celebrate the day with a short talk presenting some interesting advances involving members of the Institute and related to this topic.
