Development of an ISFET-based Lab-On-CMOS Platform for Rapid Tests and other Applications
The talk will address the development of an ISFET-based lab-on-chip platform, built from standard 65-nm CMOS technology, exposing the main technological challenges encountered during the process. The talk will focus on the digital detection of biomarkers, although potential applications in the biomedical and sensing fields will also be discussed.
About Javier Cuenca
Javier Cuenca obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Electronics Engineering from Universitat de Lleida in 2019 and his Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya in 2021. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Electronic and Telecomunication Engineering at Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. He is a member of the Integrated Circuits and Systems (ICAS) and Chemical Transducers (GTQ) groups. His research interests include the design of compact and efficient analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, and the CMOS integration of electrochemical sensors to produce self-contained system-on-chip’s for electrochemical sensing.
