Quality Committee
The Quality Committee is the body that carries out the tasks of planning and monitoring the institute's internal quality assurance systems, conveys the quality policy, manages its implementation, review and assignment of responsibilities.
The Quality Committee is the body that carries out the tasks of planning and monitoring of the institute's internal quality assurance systems, conveys the quality policy, manages its implementation, review and assignment of responsibilities. It was created in February 2022 to carry out the implementation of a new Quality Management System that obtained the ISO9001:2015 certification in April 2023. Its functions are as follows:
- Defining the annual goals of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- Ensuring the maintenance of the practices required to comply with ISO9001:2015.
- Managing and monitoring and periodic renewal of the certification.
The committee is permanent, reports to management and its composition varies. Currently, it is composed of: the director of IMB-CNM, Luis Fonseca; the director of D+T Microelectrónica A.I.E., Manuel Lozano; and the director of the Clean Room, David Quirion. In addition, there are three other people with quality training, the head of quality and continuous improvement of the Clean Room, Ana Sánchez; the head of the quality management system of the IMB-CNM Chemical Transducers Group, Ferran Vera; and the head of the new quality management system, Daniela Bassignana.
